Would definitely recommend over all. Our experience was good. We went late and despite being alone to serve more than 3 table at the same time, Rumel did deliver a great customer service to us. He made us feel at ease and didn’t rush us at all, set the expectation in a very professional way. Now the part of the food; there is a variety of food and as a fussy person I found something I could eat. Thanks again Rumel

I went with a friend and former colleague who proudly considers himself a bit of a curry expert—so the bar was set high from the start. We ordered the lamb pasanda, chicken dhansak, and keema naan—and every dish delivered. A special mention has to go to Ali, who gave us some great advice on the menu. He recommended having lamb with the pasanda, and his suggestion was spot on. The lamb pasanda: tender tender tender!!!! The sauce was rich and velvety, made with ground almonds and cream, with a lovely subtle nuttiness and a touch of sweetness that perfectly complemented the lamb. It was indulgent without being heavy, and absolutely brimming with flavour. The chicken dhansak had that proper balance of sweet, sour, and spice, with rich lentils that gave it great depth. The keema naan was excellent—fresh, generously stuffed, and just crisp enough on the outside to scoop up every last bit of curry. My curry-loving friend gave it a big thumbs up, which says a lot! And having someone like Ali on hand, offering genuine insight and recommendations, added a real sense of care and class to the whole experience. It’s not just great food—it’s thoughtful service too. We were served by Ramul (check my spelling) who was very friendly. The space has beautiful atmosphere and isn't too loud. We sat outside on the street tables. They do have a vegan menu on offer as well! The food is phenomenal, if you want a mild dish they offer to add spice. The chicken Saag was divine and the onion bhaji was the size of my fist! Great place, you're able to partake in all the joy of the street with incredibly great food. I'm definitely coming back here!

Such a gem of a restaurant! Food was amazing, and the vegan menu was great, with lots of options. Service was really good, and staff were so friendly - would recommend :)

We got takeaway from here. There were several train cancellations and hungry as we were wanted some quick takeout. Folks at Raj had us in/out in 20 min. The food was delicious and hit the spot when we ate on the train. Brought back childhood memories eating supper with family on the train! Definitely recommend saag paneer and okra sabzi.
